Simon Walker is Professor of Educational Development and Director of Programme Development at University College London (UCL). He has held senior university positions and has worked on many European and international higher educational development projects. His interests lie in assessment and curriculum design including co-design and staff-student partnership. He was instrumental in setting up the Change Agents UK Network in 2014 and an academic journal that supports its activities - Educational Innovation, Partnership and Change. He established the annual Academic Practice and Technology (APT) international conference in 2003. He was awarded a National Teaching Fellowship in 2006 for his work on Learning Design and Principal Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy in 2015.
