Ovidiu Bagdasar is an Associate Professor in Mathematics at the University of Derby in the United Kingdom, where he leads the research cluster on Digital Society and the Turing Scheme for Computing and Engineering. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (FIMA) and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). Ovidiu holds membership of the e-Assessment Association, the American (AMM), European (EMS), London (LMS), and of the Romanian Mathematical Societies (SSMR). Ovidiu's research encompasses fundamental, applied and education research in Mathematics, being disseminated through conferences, journals and books (the latest 'Recurrent Sequences: Key Results, Applications and Problems', with D. Andrica published by Springer). Ovidiu also works with technology companies, students and academic colleagues from around the globe, to fulfil the dream of 'a world where everyone enjoys maths'.
