Nav Ahmed is an award-winning educator and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion champion. Passionate about DE&I and widening participation in education, Nav won 3 awards at the This Is Us - Diversity Impact Business Awards 2023, including the Changemaker and Organisational Champion awards, as well as the Overall Champion. He also received the Inclusive Skills Development award at the World Skills UK EDI Heroes Awards 2023. Nav is the Equality and Diversity Network Co-ordinator for the Association of University Administrators (AUA) and a Speaker for the BAMEed Network. He was voted for by students as the winner of the Spotlight on Great Teaching Awards in 2020 and 2021. His research interests include narrowing awarding gaps and improving graduate outcomes, particularly for Foundation Year students.
