Growing up in Anguilla in the Caribbean, India Browne found her passion for gaming at a young age. As she completed her GCSEs at High School in the UK, studying English, Math, Science, French, Geography and Music, India began to pursue her dream in Esports. Resourcing the parts and building her first gaming computer system at the age of 15, she was eventually signed to her first professional gaming organization in the US - Circuitry Gaming1 / 1 Growing up in Anguilla in the Caribbean, India Browne found her passion for gaming at a young age. As she completed her GCSEs at High School in the UK, studying English, Math, Science, French, Geography and Music, India began to pursue her dream in Esports. Resourcing the parts and building her first gaming computer system at the age of 15, she was eventually signed to her first professional gaming organization in the US - Circuitry Gaming. In 2022 and at the age of 16, India Alanis made history as she became the first and youngest female player to win a Commonwealth gold medal in Esports at the Birmingham Commonwealth Esports games. Representing team England, Alanis, alongside her teammates, not only secured the gold medal, but also set several Rocket League records during their dominating performance in the qualifiers, semi-finals and championship games. Immediately following the Commonwealth games, India was signed to Team Endpoint, one of the top Esports gaming organisations in the UK. She competes on their main roster on the world stage in tournaments such as Insomnia, Women's Car Ball, Radiant Rocket League Series and Meta Power Women's Invitational. India has also collaborated with brands like Nike, Esports England and Microsoft, to bring awareness to how Esports provide incredible opportunities for women and to advocate for more to join. Her inspiring story has been shared across various media platforms like ITV, BBC One, BBC sounds, Planet Thirty, Esports England and KCN TV Anguilla. India is currently a first-year law and hospitality & tourism management 6th form college student in the UK. In her spare time, she enjoys solving puzzles, Rubik's cube and other problem-solving brainteasers, travelling, keeping abreast of the latest in computer technology and has even achieved Royal Music examination grades in piano.
