A core challenge for Higher Education is how to use TEL to its full potential. Effective leadership is key when considering TEL; universities must ensure an institutional approach which views learners as individuals, defines their underpinning pedagogical approaches, develops strong student-staff relationships and considers the role of student voice in every decision. In this session Prof Charles Egbu will break down Leeds Trinity University's approach to TEL, from the implementation of learning analytics to understand the student experience to the establishment of a Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching to support strategic ambitions through active digital design.
